Truman College Chemistry through Food Class

Learning thermodynamics, hydrogen bonds and isotopes is no simple feat but some Chicago college professors are trying to make chemistry a little more ‘user friendly’ by incorporating cooking! Their students get to learn the basics of chemistry while making cheese curds and chocolate mousse. And coming this summer, the same professors are doing a set of lectures for the public with the same theme, ‘Chemistry through Food’. Even for the non-science types, the professors promise incorporating kitchen concepts will make you finally love chemistry!
