190 North host Janet Davies Bio

Janet Davies joined ABC 7 as a feature reporter and program host in August of 1984. Her segments are featured on ABC 7 News at 4 p.m. each weekday and, of course, each week here on "190 North", she is the host and executive producer of the show!

Over the years, Janet has been nominated for 57 regional Emmy's and captured 13 awards for hosting, writing, producing and reporting. She has traveled the world from Kenya to Israel reporting and has covered such events as the Academy Awards, The Primetime Emmys, and fashion's Pret a Porter in Paris.

She came to ABC7 from WPVI-TV in Philadelphia where she co-hosted and co-produced the #1 talk show in the market. Her career began at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati.

She graduated from Miami University in Ohio and is married with two children.
